About Megan
I’m Megan – one half of Tales & Teacups!
Reading is definitely at the top of my hobbies and I usually read every day! Is it just me or does reading automatically come with the need to horde books? My TBR list is huge and yet I can’t help but buy more and more. My husband is *super happy* about all the books everywhere… My favourite genre is fantasy romance, but I’ve been on adventures into other worlds, including contemporary romance and thrillers (but I’m easily scared). I would struggle to say who my favourite author is, but some include:

There are so many more, but we’ll be here all day!
Outside of reading, I also love sewing and cosplaying, and many other arts and crafts activities! My previous career was as a copywriter and marketing executive, but I dream of a future in the publishing industry!
About Zoe
I am a mechanical engineer in my day job but have always dreamed of having a small business to make my work fit around my home life. I love reading non-fiction books to better understand myself and the world around me and I also love to paint and draw. I like spending time outdoors and going on regular walks to the local park with my partner. My dream is to live in a little cottage in the countryside with a nice sized garden with my family, a cat and a dog.
I tend to pick my next book to read at random based on what I’m interested in at that time so I don’t have many favourite authors. My honourable author mentions are Malcolm Gladwell and Mason Cross (specifically the books Outliers and The Samaritan series respectively). Some of my favourite books also include Men Who Hate Women by Laura Bates, and Show Me The Bodies by Peter Apps.
